Who We Are
Lee Residential Care, LLC is a social service agency that originated in June, 2008. We serve persons with cognitive and/or physical disabilities with a diagnosis of intellectual disability and/or autism. We provide supports in Region III Penobscot County.
Karen M. Lee RN, CEO
Karen’s first experience caring for individuals with special needs was in 1989 working as a CNA at the Elizabeth Levinson Center, a State of Maine residential facility for children with multiple disabilities. From there she followed her dreams of starting a family and becoming a Registered Nurse. Karen relates her many years of nursing experience to the success of Lee Residential Care. Providing a holistic approach to each member is of greatest importance. As well as, advocacy for members served, individualized services, and consumer/guardian satisfaction.
Linden R. Lee Jr., COO
Linden has extensive experience as a former franchise owner and manager. He uses his experience to guide and support Lee Residential Care in maintaining an unparalleled quality of care. As a certified Safety Care Instructor, he trains staff to safely overcome difficult situations. Linden oversees finances, purchases, and maintenance of the homes, properties, and vehicles to provide happy, healthy homes for the individuals Lee Residential Care serves.
Chris Cowette Assistant Executive Director
Chris has been with Lee Residential Care since 2012, he started working as a DSP with several years of experience in direct care. He now acts as assistant to Karen Lee, where he assists with day to day operations of the homes, supervising several of them. His responsibilities include recruiting new staff, teaching First Aid/CPR, overseeing Behavior Management Plans, developing person centered plans, and supporting staff and members as various needs arise.
Austen Lee, Executive Assistant
Supervisor of several homes, QBS Safety Care instructor, responds to crisis situations as they may arise, develops narrative as well as goals and desires for person centered plans, quality assurance for the homes under his supervision. Encourages and participates in community inclusion activities with our Members.
Brittany Lynch Administrative Assistant
Brittany has been at Lee Residential Care since 2014. As an administrative assistant she helps to ensure that our staff always have the documents they need. She tracks appointments, data, and reviews weekly and monthly documentation for quality.
Keri Dupras Office Manager
Keri has been with Lee Residential Care since 2012. She handles most Human Resource needs, including scheduling, insurances, and other benefits and trainings. She organizes, and creates the Medication Administration Records for the individuals we serve. She also tracks employee certifications.
